The vision of the Chair of Management and Economics of Wood Companies is to study wood production systems, in particular their economic, organizational, informational, marketing and environmental aspects, using modern research and scientific methods. Study also includes the development of products, from both economic and marketing points of view. The purpose of the study is to find better and practical functional solutions. The staff of the Chair strive to transfer the research results into Slovene woodworking practice and to communicate them to students of wood science at our faculty through lectures and exercises, the aim of which is to provide knowledge and the ability to work in this field, with an emphasis on imagination and creativity.
