Chair of Forest Techniques and Economics
The department carries out pedagogical and research work in the field of forest technology and economics - we provide students with knowledge in areas that are of key importance for successful forest management. We offer courses in all years of both undergraduate first-cycle studies. We also provide in-depth and additional knowledge in the framework of compulsory and elective courses in the second-cycle study Forestry and Forest Ecosystem Management. We have modern pedagogical and research equipment that enables high-quality implementation of the pedagogical process, an important part of which is fieldwork. We actively involve students in the scientific research and professional work of the department through projects. As part of the regular pedagogical process, we also include lectures by guest lecturers. We cooperate with domestic and foreign pedagogical and research organizations on joint research projects and as guest lecturers.
