• Introduction to major animal groups and their characteristics
• Morphological and physiological characteristics of basic functional plant systems (cell, tissue, organ)
• Basic principles of plant growth (primary and secondary) and development (vegetative, reproductive)
• Organism and its environment
• Introduction to systematisc of multicellular organisms
