Content (Syllabus outline)
Lectures:
- Basic professional terminology.
- Main techniques used for studying human anatomy.
- Anatomical orientations and planes.
- Basic tissue types.
- Structural organization of the body.
- Organic systems (integumentary system, vascular system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, nervous system, endocrine system, sensory, digestive, secretory, reproductive system).
Laboratory practice:
- Osteology (skeletal organic system, basic structure of the bones, ossification, dentition).
- Myology (muscular organic system, basic muscle structure, muscle function).
- Arthrology (joint types, joint movement types)
- Selected topics from other organic systems.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites for inclusion in the work:
- inscription to the first academic year of the BSc Biology study.
Prerequisites for performing study obligations:
