Content (Syllabus outline)
Introductory definitions: open space, landscape, environment, public green. Typology of open space and its functional and structural definition. Problem oriented design, questions of autonomy and interrelation with other spatial structures. Theoretical explanation and/or complements to studio work. Two main themes. Structural, psychological and social aspects of design for children, the role and purpose of space for the development of psychophysical and social abilities of children. Spatial and cultural aspects for design of cemeteries, traditional and contemporary burials and their translation into spatial structures of cemeteries.
