The equipment is available at the Chair of Wood Pests, Protection and Modification of Wood, Rožna dolina VIII/34 (Department of Wood Science) and is available by prior arrangement.
Purpose
The incandescent furnace is to be used for fire tests on wood and other lignocellulosic composites. The furnace provides non-contact heating from three sides below, left and right. The heaters are individually freely adjustable up to a temperature of 500 °C. The stove itself can be heated up to 1000 °C. It is also possible to set the ash proportions after combustion, for example for pellets.
