The Biotechnical Faculty  in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan and the Department of Asian Studies of the Faculty of Philosophy of UL is again this year organising a celebration of one of the most beautiful Japanese holidays - Hanami.

The Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival will take place in 15. of April 2025 from 16.30 hour in the Dendrological Garden at 83 Večna cesta. 

Visitors can look forward to a varied cultural programme with short lectures, workshops, traditional Japanese cuisine and relaxed socialising under the blossom canopy. The event is becoming a springtime tradition, bringing together nature, science and friendship between the two countries.
