INVITATION TO VI. DOCTORAL DAY Bi(o)sciences?2025
Dear students,
We are very pleased to invite you to the 6th Doctoral Day Bi(o)sciences? 2025, which will take place on Wednesday, 4 June 2025 in the Janez Hribar Hall, at the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Biotechnology, starting at 16:30. The main themes of the event will be self-reflection and networking. We will be joined by two very interesting guests, who will remain a secret for now. The event remains dedicated to you - PhD students - to present your research work through posters and to network with each other, alumni and other participants. The event will be held in Slovenian and you can prepare your posters and abstracts in Slovenian or English.
For this year's event, it will be possible to collaborate with posters (the so-called poster section), and an abstract book will be published, but there will be no longer papers. Abstracts of posters will be peer-reviewed, published in the Proceedings of Abstracts and will count 2 points (according to the evaluation of bibliographic indicators of research performance according to the ARRS methodology). Authors of abstracts will be able to present their work in the form of posters in the poster session between the 1st and 2nd lectures, in the Dean's Office foyer. The first three most original and special posters, as judged by the audience, will be awarded at the event itself.
You are cordially invited to actively participate in the Doctoral Day!
The template for writing the abstract can be found in the attached annexes. The abstract describing your poster should be submitted in doc. format by 16 April 2025.
The poster, to be printed in B1 size (70 x 100 cm), should be submitted in pdf. format by 11 May 2025.
All posters will be printed at the Faculty.
Please send your abstract and poster to: doktorski@bf.uni-lj.si.
If you have any further questions regarding abstract submission and poster preparation, please contact us at: zp1529845@gmail.com (Žan Pečnik).
Best regards,
