LOTS OF INTEREST IN THE EVMC 2025 CONFERENCE


The Faculty of Environmental Protection in collaboration with partner organisations (University of Primorska, Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies; University of Ljubljana, Biotechnical Faculty; Julius Kühn Institute; Hunting Association of Slovenia and Forestry Institute of Slovenia) is organising the 14th European Vertebrate Management Conference (EVMC 2025), which will take place in Ankaran from 12 to 16 May 2025.


The conference is a continuation of previous meetings known as EVPMC, but this time with an additional focus on the involvement of all vertebrate species and different management approaches, including ecology, monitoring and conservation. 14. The main sections of the European Conference on Vertebrate Management, covering the latest and most interesting topics and a wide range of disciplines, are: Ecology, Physiology and Behaviour; Taxonomy and Genetics; Monitoring and Population Management; Human-Animal Conflict and the Social Perspective; (Invasive) Non-native Vertebrate Species; Crop and Urban Systems; Health, Zoonotic Pathogens and Parasites; Rodenticide Resistance and Environmental Monitoring; and New Approaches and Methods.

 

With more than 200 contributions from researchers coming from over 40 different countries, EVMC 2025 will bring together a diverse international community of experts to share experiences, present new discoveries and build collaborations that will shape the future of vertebrate management.
