The Botanical Garden of the University of Ljubljana announces that on Wednesday, 20 November 2024, at 12:30, a ceremony will be held to inaugurate the new fence created during the reconstruction of Ižanska cesta. The new fence was designed by the architect, assistant professor and Ljubljana's Vice-Mayor Rok Žnidaršič, and its construction was fully funded by the Municipality of Ljubljana.

The event will be hosted by the Mayor of the Municipality of Ljubljana, Mr Zoran Janković, and the Vice-Mayor , Mr Rok Žnidaršič, who will also address the gathering. In addition to the Head of the Botanical Garden, Dr Jože Bavcon, the ceremony will also be attended by the Dean of the Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Prof. Dr Marina Pintar.
