Public Agricultural Advisory Service Consultation and European Innovation Partnership - EIP event

Organised by the Slovenian Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food

 

On Monday and Tuesday (18 and 19 November), the 39th Bled Festival will take place at the Bled Festival Hall. The traditional consultation of the public agricultural advisory service entitled "Soil, our irreplaceable resource" will be held in the Bled Festival in Bled on 39th. The key aspects of responsible water management in crop production in the perspective of the One Health Triad will be discussed by the Dean of the UL BF, Prof. Dr. Marina Pintar. Dr. Marjetka Suhadolc, Associate Professor of the Department of Agronomy, will lecture on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing C fixation in soil through conservation tillage (ReC-Till), and Dr. Rok Mihelič, Associate Professor, also from the Department of Agronomy, will speak on reducing drought stress and increasing soil fertility through the introduction of conservation tillage in sustainable agriculture.
