The Biotechnical Faculty invites you to the 11th Scientific Consultation Ločniškar Days entitled "Bioeconomy and Animal Production - Challenges and Examples", which will take place on Friday, 22 November 2024, in the Knight's Hall at the Department of Zootechnics, Faculty of Biotechnics.
This year's event will explore opportunities for introducing sustainable practices in livestock production within the concept of the circular bioeconomy. Participating experts from different fields will present innovative solutions that address key challenges in reducing the environmental impacts of the livestock industry, including emission reduction, nutrient recycling and by-product reuse.
The consultation will also address the current market situation, characterised by uncertainties and global shocks, and the search for flexible solutions that can ensure production stability even in times of climate and geopolitical change.
We invite you to join us and together we will explore the possibilities for introducing circular and sustainable solutions in Slovenian livestock farming.
