Recognitions, awards

Faculty commendations are awarded to the best teaching staff, the best students of the year and students or groups of students who have made a visible contribution to the reputation or activities of the Faculty.

Faculty commendations are awarded to the best teaching staff in a particular department or course of the Faculty during the previous academic year.

Faculty commendations shall be awarded to the best first- and second-year students in each first-cycle study programme and to the best first-year student in each second-cycle study programme in the previous academic year. The best student of a year shall be a student who, in the previous academic year, has passed all the examinations which are a prerequisite for advancement to a higher year and has achieved the highest average mark in the examinations and exercises in the year, but not less than 9.1.

The Faculty's commendation is also awarded to students or groups of students who, through their research, study and sporting achievements in the extracurricular field, achieved notable results and represented the Faculty in a quality manner abroad or at home during the previous academic year. The results have contributed to the enhancement of the Faculty's reputation or activities.

Faculty commendations are awarded in accordance with the Rules on Prizes and Awards of the Faculty of Biotechnics.
