Research and pedagogical activities: Wood coatings for interior and exterior, their interactions with various substrates (wood, modified wood, densified wood), wood liquefaction and preparation of new wood coatings on the basis of liquefied wood, applications of nanomaterials in wood coatings and in treatment of wood; previously he has studied a lot new environmentally friendly wood preservatives. Leader of various national research projects and collaboration in various international projects.
